We get many e-mails asking us to add an RSS feed. We would love to, but according to Blogger you need to have Blogger Pro to have that feature. When we check every so often, this is what Blogger says...

Can I order Blogger Pro or Blog*Spot Plus?

We've stopped taking orders for these products as we are retooling our product offering. The features of these products are still completely supported and we are providing priority support to Pro and Plus users.

So we are on the outside with cash in hand, but they won't open the store.

Wet Bandit2003 from the Wetlands!

I would like to have to have 1400mL of Acetic Acid,(vinegar) and 520 g of Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking soda) and two corks. I would first drink the vinegar, then swallow all of the baking soda, swallow one cork, and stop my rear end with the other. I would then jump up and down rigorousely. The nice little chemical reation will create a lot of CO2 gas and BANG!!!!!!!! I explode!!!!!! I just saved the prison money on their electric bill!!!!!

Dateline: South Korea

The story...

34% of Public Says Death Penalty Should be Banned

A majority of Koreans are in favor of capital punishment according to the latest study conducted by the government's human rights watchdog. Only one out of three people surveyed said the death penalty should be scrapped, but many agreed changes to the current system were necessary.

The National Human Rights Commission of Korea surveyed 2020 people on the death penalty system. They included 100 lawmakers, 113 judges, 100 correction counselors, 250 journalists among other groups and more than 1000 average citizens. 34.1 percent of the general public said the capital punishment system should be abolished. Correction counselors were more supportive of scrapping the death penalty at 80 percent, while 60 percent of legislators and 53.1 percent of judges responded that the system should be abolished. On the other hand, fewer numbers among prosecutors and prison officers responded in favor of annulling the system at 16.7 percent and 11.3 percent, respectively.

The commission said most people surveyed said the death penalty system should be maintained but added there were differing opinions on whether it can effectively prevent crimes and protect victims. The commission said the respondents commonly believed the scope of crimes subject to the death sentence should be reduced. The results of the latest survey will be used to draft an amendment to the capital punishment system.

Poll shows Hispanics favor death penalty

And lots of other things as well...

The skinny:

MIAMI, April 5 (UPI) -- A poll released Monday by The Miami Herald shows that Hispanics throughout the United States support the death penalty and prayer in schools.

But the same poll, conducted by Zogby International, showed they were divided on the abortion issue and on giving undocumented immigrants government aid such as Medicaid and food stamps.

It was part of the same poll that showed Sunday that Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., led President Bush by 58-33 percent. The Herald noted that most strategists believe that Kerry must hold Bush's Hispanic vote under 35 percent to win the election.

Monday's poll showed that 72 percent of Hispanics either strongly or somewhat support the death penalty and they support prayer in schools by a 59-39 percent margin.

They split 49-49 percent on the abortion issue despite their primarily Catholic background.

They also were divided on giving federal aid to illegal aliens. Forty-nine percent opposed it and 48 percent were in favor.

The poll was conducted March 29-31 among 1,000 Hispanic-American who are likely to vote. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.2 percent.
